First Movie

First Movie

This is my first full-length, all-sound audio “movie”, performed on a Yamaha keyboard (one of the PS series big toys) - my first MIDI keyboard! MIDI-recorded into a Mac Plus! 1992 or so, just before becoming ill with the Hep-C that knocked me out for several years afterward.

Keyboards 11-11-04

Keyboards 11-11-04

Some interesting sequencer action back in 2004 on the K5000. Not the greatest piece in the world, but interesting to me!

Tibeten Mystery

Tibeten Mystery

This is a rather intense piece concerning energy transitions and transmutations taking place in Tibet over a 1000 year period. It is very abstract - perhaps too much so for listeners accustomed to melodies! The rest of you - enjoy!

Gothic Wonderland

Gothic Wonderland

This is a very abstract piece based upon the feeling I receive from very gothic sorts of imagery. It has no melody, so those not liking very abstract pieces should skip this one! It is in two parts, and has two very slowly building crescendos.

Weird Wild Sound

Weird Wild Sound

I just loved this sound so much, I couldn’t get away from it. Very abstract again, so warning to those who want a melody - there isn’t one here!

4th Street Live Concert With Laura Rohde

4th Street Live Concert With Laura Rohde

We performed live outdoors at the 4th Street Festival in Winston-Salem. We know they certainly didn’t expect to hear the kind of music we make, but many/most folks found it quite entrancing and stood nearby to listen for a long time.

3rd Concert With Laura Rohde

3rd Concert With Laura Rohde

This is the third concert that Laura Rohde and I performed at the Winston-Salem Public Library auditorium of the three concerts performed there.
Pardon the blank spaces in the beginning - there were a couple technical glitches during the recording. All goes smoothly afterwards!

Stalker

Stalker

Rather interesting piece. My first recording on the Wavestation, recorded in my room at the Rescue Mission of Winston Salem when still homeless, but had just received my first disability check, and so bought a keyboard to die with (from hepatitis-C). Today, I am happy to report that I didn’t die.
